Eagle Scout • Wilderness Guide • Adventure Enthusiast

My love for the outdoors started young. Growing up, I was always the kid who wanted to sleep in a tent in the backyard, who chose hiking over video games, and who couldn't wait for the next camping trip. That passion led me to Scouting, where I learned the fundamentals of wilderness skills, leadership, and service.
Earning my Eagle Scout rank was one of the proudest moments of my life. But it was the journey that shaped me—thousands of hours on the trail, countless nights under the stars, and the privilege of learning from experienced mentors who showed me what it means to lead with integrity in the backcountry.
Backpacked through the rugged backcountry of New Mexico's Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Navigated challenging terrain, managed high altitude conditions, and learned invaluable wilderness survival skills that continue to inform my guiding today.
Canoed the pristine wilderness of northern Minnesota into Canada. Portaged gear between remote lakes, navigated by map and compass, and experienced the profound solitude of one of North America's last true wilderness areas.
From the red rocks of Arizona to the rainforests of the Pacific Northwest, from the depths of the Grand Canyon to alpine meadows and mountain peaks, I've spent my life learning different ecosystems. Each landscape teaches something unique about navigation, weather, wildlife, and the art of moving safely through wild places.
I believe that everyone—regardless of age or experience level—deserves the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the wilderness. My role as a guide isn't just to get you safely from point A to point B. It's to help you connect deeply with nature, to teach you skills that build confidence, and to create an environment where you can challenge yourself in ways that matter to you.
Safety is my top priority, but so is joy, wonder, and personal growth. When you adventure with me, you're not just hiring a guide—you're gaining a mentor, a safety expert, and someone who genuinely cares about making your backcountry dreams a reality.
