Continue through canyon with stunning geology. Multiple creek crossings (seasonal). Camp near exit trail.
Challenging ascent out of canyon. Gain 2,000 feet over 3 miles. Emerge at Parsons Spring Trailhead. Shuttle to starting point.
Advanced fitness required. 30+ miles total with significant elevation changes. Must carry 35-40 lb pack. Previous backpacking experience essential.
